Person who served me-looked like jane?
Price- £3.80
Size of Fish-Decent size around 12 inch 3 inch gurth, nice and white with very nice batter and seemed clean(ish)
Chips-Nice & chunky not too greasey and just the right amount.
Freashness-This is a busy chippy and we went at peak time with a constant flow of fish been pulled from the depth's so no waiting.
Drinks-All you could want big bottles, small bottles & cans of Benshaws d&b and cream soda
Any Quirky perks-You could order scampi, chicken nuggets & even had a nice decor of motorbike pictures(if thats your thing)
Summary
BOB ON...This chippy is only the second one we have rated but WOWZA i think it could be a contender, the decor, service and most of all the snap was unreal. With a drinks selection a conuseur of fizzy pop would be happy with as well as a decent price. The only problem we found with this was the lack of parking spaces which ment we had to park on double yellow's. This chippy tea also turned Loretta into a fish n chip monster gobbling down the lot in under five minutes flat with the manners of a cave woman.
I rate this a low 9

Place – Hollowgate Fisheries, Holmfirth
Opening Times – Mon – Thurs 1130 – 2100 Fri & Sat 1130 – 2200 Sunday 1130 – 2100(skills on the opening times here)
Person who served me – she looked like a Rachel
Price – Fish & Chips £4.55 large peas £1.20 & large gravy £1.20(this is pricey this like)
Size of Fish – Big(around 10 inch with a 3 inch gurth)
Chips – lovely; some big & fat others short & crispy
Freshness – very; had to wait for them to come out of the fryer(this is ok but any longer than 6mins and it looses half a mark)
Drinks – usual ben shaws selection, fruit shoots, coke etc.
Any Quirky Perks – they also do a kids meal in a box with a TOY! Just started doing cheesy chips for £1.20
Summary
Second best chippy in the area; great size portions to fill me up. Mushy peas were slightly bland which would be my only downfall so chuffed I also had gravy which was extra nice & compensated for the poor peas!! And it all went down perfectly with a cold can of dandelion & burdock J
I score this a reasonable 8(This is a high rating i may have to try this)

Opening Times-Mon-Friday-11:00-14:00, Thursday/Friday-16:00-18:15, Saturday-11:30-13:30
Pesron who served me-Debbie
Price-£3.70
Size of fish-Small & thin
Chips-Very Greasy & soft mush(no scrppy ones)
Bits-see review( i wasn't even asked)
Freshness-Seemed quite dry at least 20 mins old.
Drinks-the usual big brands and buddies pop, no large bottle or Ben Shaws(disapointing)
Any Quirky Perks- Lots of deals on and if you have buy a fish butty you get a few chips thrown in(to hide the size of the fish)
Summary
This chippy's fish was small and thin and i think they knew this therefore gave me more chips than even an elephant could handle. Debby was plesant enough however a collegue of mine asked for bit's on her chip butty and didn't recieve them. It is very welcoming with a "hi" and a "have a nice weekend" on entrance and exit. The "plaice" even has an area where you can eat your purchase, with a parking bay it's most definatly a passing chippy not one i would go out of my way to due to the fish size, greasy chips, no Ben Shaws & missing bits.
I score this at a low 5.
